Chris Wooding has been a professional author since he was nineteen years old. Since then he has published twenty-four fantasy and SF books for both adults and YA readers, including a graphic novel, and worked in TV and the movie industry. In between, he backpacked all over the world, toured in punk bands, lived in Spain and became a dad. His latest fantasy book, The Ember Blade, is due for release early next year through Gollancz.
